The Configuration Manager must review the Technology Asset And Configuration Management Review Report and analyze gaps
and discrepancies in the process followed. Discrepancies identified during the review can be due to human or system
errors or issues outside of the Technology Asset And Configuration Management process as well. The Configuration
Manager must identify corrective actions for the same. The Configuration Manager should also look for opportunities to
optimize the Technology Asset and Configuration Management process.
In certain cases, improvement may also be required in the tools used for technology Asset And Configuration Management.
These could include requirement of additional tools or addition of features to existing tools. An improvement plan must
be established to resolve the issues that ensures the integrity and consistency of the configuration management system
is maintained.
The Configuration Manager must then collaborate with the Engagement Manager and implement the improvements.
